No. You pay nothing until your deck is complete and you are satisfied with the work. We take all the financial risk — you take none.
Yes. The price on your estimate is the price on your invoice. We do not add hidden charges or surprise fees. The only way the price changes is if you request changes to the scope of work.
We primarily use TimberTech, a subsidiary of AZEK. Wes is a TimberTech Platinum Contractor — one of only 4 in the Calgary area — and is AZEK University certified. We can also install any composite brand you prefer, including Trex, Fiberon, and others.

In most cases, yes. The City of Calgary requires permits for decks over 0.6m (24 inches) above grade or any deck attached to the house. We handle the permit process for you.
Most residential decks take 2–5 days to build once we start. Timeline depends on deck size, complexity, and weather. We will provide a clear timeline with your estimate.
We provide a 1-year workmanship warranty on all our builds. Additionally, composite materials come with manufacturer warranties of 25–30 years depending on the brand and product line.
Composite decking lasts significantly longer than wood in Calgary's climate, requires virtually no maintenance (no staining, sealing, or sanding), resists rot and insects, and maintains its appearance for decades. While the upfront cost is higher, the total cost of ownership over 25+ years is typically lower than wood.
